Maternity season begins in mid-April in the southernmost U.S. In Indiana, most bats babies born in late  June to July. In Washington State, you need to avoid bat removal, in between may to July. Try to avoid removing bats in the winter season because they hibernate during the cold season, there would not be enough food outside for them to survive. If bats population will decline, it will directly affect the environment and you also. This is because they eat mosquitos, insects, etc, there will be a sudden increase in the population of them.

This could be time-consuming if there are many openings throughout the building.

You can also use one-way device which is used by professional. Once all the bats are gone, remove the device and seal hole permanently. You can purchase it from the market or you can also make your own from netting, empty caulk container or PVC pipes. Take a flexible netting with 0.4 mesh smaller, cover the opening of netting with plastic. Only secure it along the top and halfway down the sides. Keep in mind, must extend 18 to 24 inches below the bottom edge of the opening. Do it on all the opening and keep the net in place at least for five to seven days to ensure that, all the bats have taken an exit. If all process has done, so permanently seal the opening with hardware cloth, silicone caulking, caulk backing rod or heavy-duty netting.
