Powdered sugar is known to attract the ants and baking soda is known to get rid of carpenter ants. Powdered sugar or baking soda both however are essential requirement to get rid of carpenter ants.

  • Baking Soda
  • Powdered Soda
  • Jar Lids (usually something that holds the bait, or a container if necessary.

  • Prepare a combination of baking soda part, 1 part powdered sugar.Make 3\4 tablespoon of each and it jointly in a jar lid. Since ants find it difficult to differentiate between baking soda and powdered sugar as are of the same size. As the sugar attracts the ants, it’s the baking soda that kills these carpenters.
