Now, put some fruits peel like apple, mango or banana inside the jar or bottle. The smell of fruit peels will easily draw the bugs to the jar or bottle and they get caught inside the jar because of the petroleum jelly on the surface and edge of the container. Next morning, transfer the caught cockroaches inside the jar to a can loaded with soapy water to kill them.
