Home Remedies to Get Rid of Pimples

1.) Ice to Get Rid of Pimples

Ice is very helpful in reducing swelling, redness, and soreness of pimples. It improves the circulation of blood on affected part. It tightens the pores of the skin and removes the collected oil and dirt from it. In this remedy, you can go for crushed ice or ice cubes as per your convenience. Use this Ice Remedy to Remove Your Pimples.

Directions:

  • Cover some cubes of ice in a piece of thin cloth and place it on the affected part for some seconds.
  • Wait for few a minute and repeat again.
  • Do not put ice cubes directly on the skin.

2.) Lemon to Get Rid of Pimples

Use of lemon juice is also very effective in reducing pimple. Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C which helps in drying up pimples effectively. For this treatment, you should use fresh juice of a lemon and not the bottled one with preservatives. The process to get rid of pimples is as mentioned below.

  • Rinse a cotton swab in lemon juice and apply directly on pimples before you go to the bed.
  • Alternatively, you can add one teaspoon full of cinnamon powder with a tablespoon full of lemon juice, make a mixture and apply it on the pimples and leave it for the night. Next morning uses lukewarm water to rinse the skin gently. You should not try this remedy if you have a sensitive skin.

In addition, tea tree oil is soothing in nature. It reduces the inflammation and redness in pimples. It also helps in drying out whiteheads and blackheads on skin. Here are the directions.

Directions:

  • Dab a cotton swab into tea tree oil and apply it on the affected part, after fifteen to twenty minutes wash your face with water. Do a patch test before applying the tea tree oil all over. If it stinks add a few drops of water before applying it on the pimples.
  • Alternatively, you can mix a tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel with some drops of tea tree essential oil. apply this mixture on your blemishes and pimples, leave the same for about twenty minutes and then wash it off with water.

The toothpaste we use every morning to clean our teeth is also useful in treating pimples fast. This remedy results best if followed by the above-mentioned ice remedy. For this treatment, you should use a white toothpaste and avoid gel toothpaste.

  • Before you go to the bed, apply some toothpaste to the affected part.
  • Next morning, rinse your face with water ,it will reduce the swelling of affected area.
  • Let the toothpaste remain on affected area for minimum thirty minutes, you can go through the same process during daytime as well

  • Grind some pieces of raw papaya and extract the juice from it. Apply this juice on pimples. let it remain for about ten to fifteen minutes and then wash it off with water
  • You can go for an exfoliating face mask also. Crush some pieces of fresh papaya and add some honey to it to make a paste. Massage for the face with this paste gently. Leave the same until it dries up properly and then wash it off with water.
