1.) Salt Water Treatment to Get Rid of Tooth Pain

Salt water helps in curing a toothache. The ions present in salt kill the infection through the process of osmosis. Moreover, when done repeatedly, it helps to treat sore tooth, thus helps in healing. The salt water neutralizes the acid, which is produced due to enzymatic action of food. All you need to do is, take 1 cup of warm water and a half teaspoon of salt. Mix the salt into warm water. Swish this water into your mouth for around one minute. Repeat until a glass is empty. Do this process many a time in a day. Using salt water can help to stop tooth pain.

2.) Ginger to Cure Toothache

Ginger has some chemicals which  soothe a toothache. The anti-bacterial effects of this herb can heal the tooth infections. Moreover, ginger has anti-inflammatory effects that  help in decreasing down the inflammation, redness, swelling and so on. To stop tooth pain, take a piece of ginger. Crush it to take out its juice. With the help of cotton ball, apply this juice on the sore tooth. Keep it for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, you can chew the piece of fresh and raw ginger. Also, you can make a ginger tea by boiling a piece of ginger in water. Repeat this method for some days.

3.) Clove to Stop Tooth Pain

Using of cloves is an old and ancient remedy to stop tooth pain. It contains oils which have analgesic properties. These oils give relief in tooth pain. Moreover, it is easily available. To use clove to stop tooth pain one can take one clove and put it in the mouth for some time on sore teeth. Throw it away when its taste disappears. Alternatively, take 2-3 cloves and make its paste with the help of water.  Now apply the paste to the sore area. This will work as an anesthesia and will provide a relief in a tooth pain. If you do not find these two steps interesting. Then, purchase clove oil. With the help of cotton ball, apply this oil on the affected area.

4.) Cold Compress to Treat Tooth Pain

Applying a cold compress can be a miracle for tooth pain. Ice kills the bacteria by cooling it down. Moreover, it numbs the affected area and relieves pain. Ice slows down the blood circulation and cures swelling, redness and inflammation. To apply cold compress wrap some ice cubes in a piece of cloth. Place it on the cheeks where the pain is occurring. Keep it  for 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can rub a piece of ice directly on cheeks. Also, you can keep the ice in the mouth. This will also relieve tooth pain. Repeat this method 4 times a day to stop a toothache. This remedy is easy to use. Remember do not over cool it. It can damage your skin.

5.) Lemons to Prevent Toothache

Lemons helps to get rid of a toothache. It contains citric acid, which kills the bacteria. The citric acid  destroys the bacteria by lowering the pH. Lemons provides the relief to pain, inflammation, and infection. Take a lemon and squeeze out its juice. You can add a pinch of salt in it. Apply it on the affected area with a cotton ball. Not eat anything up to half an hour. Alternatively, you can make lemon tea by adding half lemon. Add a pinch of salt. Repeat this process twice a day up to one week. Lemons with the help of its acidic properties helps to stop tooth pain.

6.) Garlic to Avoid Tooth Pain

A toothache is a severe pain which is caused by tooth decay. Garlic can be used to prevent tooth pain. It has anti-bacterial and medicinal properties which can be helpful in relieving pain. Garlic contains allicin, as a chemical compound which reduces inflammation. To use garlic, make its paste  by using some amount of water. With the help of cotton ball apply this paste on the sore tooth. Alternatively,  take some garlic and cut it into pieces. Chew it until its juice is finished. Moreover, you can try ginger tea to stop tooth pain. Repeat these methods for around 3-4 days. Ginger will give you the amazing results.

7.) Peppermint to Stop Toothache

Peppermint is a good dose for tooth pain. It has cooling effects, numbs the affected area. It cures pain, swelling and inflammation for some time. To use peppermint, take around 4-5 fresh leaves of peppermint leaves. Swirl hem. Make a paste of it by adding some water. Apply on the sore tooth. The cooling effect which is due to menthol present in peppermint will soothe the pain and will instantly relief. Alternatively, you can use peppermint oil to stop tooth pain. It will increase the circulation of blood and heals a toothache. For best results, repeat this process 2-3 times a day. It is an easy home remedy to stop tooth pain.

8.) Baking Soda to Get Rid of Tooth Pain

Baking Soda can also help you to stop tooth pain. It kills the bacteria with its alkaline nature. Moreover, it helps in cleaning of the mouth and prevents from further bacterial attack. It is very efficient and simple method. Take 1-2 tablespoon of baking soda and mix it with warm water to make a paste. With the help of  a cotton pad, apply it on the affected area. Keep it for 2- 3 minutes. Rinse your mouth. Alternatively, if you don’t want to place a cotton ball, you can also use a solution of baking soda in water. Rinse your mouth with the solution of baking soda. Repeat this process twice a day to get better results.

9.) Asafoetida to  Avoid Toothache

Toothaches and bleeding gums can be treated by using asafoetida. It relieves the pain due to a dental problem. Moreover, it cures swelling, inflammation and helps to kill bacteria. To use asafoetida to stop tooth pain, Take a pinch of it. Make its paste by adding a small amount of water. Put this paste on the sore tooth with the help of cotton ball. This will give you instant relief. Alternatively, you can enjoy asafoetida tea by adding lemon, asafoetida, and salt in warm water. Drink it sip by sip. This will also help to cure the pain. Repeat this remedy twice a day to stop tooth pain.

10.) Margosa to Prevent Toothache

Margosa is also known as Neem. It is antibacterial in nature. It helps to kill the bacteria, reduces inflammation and cures the tooth pain. Take some fresh leaves of margosa plant. Crush them to make its paste. Add a little salt to it as it is very bitter in taste. Apply this paste on the affected area with the help of cotton ball. Avoid eating anything till half an hour. Rinse your mouth with water. Alternatively, you can chew a twig of margosa plant. Repeat this method at least twice a day. It will give excellent results and stops tooth pain.

11.) Hydrogen Peroxide to Cure Tooth Pain

Hydrogen peroxide can help to get rid of dental problems. It kills the bacteria and helps to stop tooth pain. Take a half – tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution made with water. With the help of cotton ball, apply this on the sore tooth. Keep it for 5 minutes. Rinse your mouth with water. Repeat this remedy for 1 week to prevent tooth pain.

12.) Peppermint to Cure Tooth Pain

Peppermint has cooling effect that cures the tooth pain. It consists of menthol which helps in relieving tooth pain. Take fresh leaves of peppermint. Make its paste and apply it on the affected area. Keep it for 5-10 minutes and wash your mouth with water. Repeat this remedy to stop tooth pain.
