1.) Aloe Vera Treatment for Burns

Aloe Vera is known as a wound healing natural solution for the burns, applying of which helps in healing of burned tissues.as it tenders a gentle effect on skin burns. It gives you an instant relief from skin burns. The methods you can use for the treatment of burns from Aloe Vera are mentioned below.

Method 1: Aloe Vera with Turmeric

Things You Will Need:

  • Gel of Aloe Vera – two tablespoons
  • One tablespoon turmeric powder
  • One small bowl

Directions:

  • Take two tablespoons full of Aloe Vera gel in a bowl.
  • Mix a single tablespoon of turmeric powder into it.
  • Make a mixture of both ingredients gently and make a bulky paste of it.
  • Apply the paste on the burnt skin area thoroughly.
  • Leave the paste for next ten to fifteen minutes on affected part. Then rinse it off with cold water.
  • Repeat the same process few more times a day to get instant relief from skin burn.

Method 2: Direct Application of Aloe Vera

Things You Will Need:

  • Two full tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel
  • Three to four cotton swabs.
  • small bowl

Directions:

  • take a small bowl and dip three to four cotton swabs in two tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel.
  • Apply well-soaked cotton swabs gently on the burnt area.
  • Rub those cotton swabs very slowly on the burnt portion for a minute.
  • Leave that portion untouched for next five to ten minutes, and then rinse it off with cold water.
  • If you still feel the pain or burning sensation repeat the same process again.

2.) Honey to Treat a Burn

As the burn wounds need immediate treatment. The most easily available stuff for the treatment in your kitchen is honey.it is nutritional and antibacterial in nature, which is one of the easily available item   in your kitchen and appropriate home remedy for skin burn problems.

Things You Will Need:

  • One tablespoon of organic honey
  • One bandage or dressing.

Directions:

  • Take a tablespoon full of organic honey.
  • Apply honey on the burnt skin directly and gently with the help of your fingertips.
  • Cover the affected area or wound after applying honey by using a bandage or dressing.
  • Leave it for the night, it will help to heal the wound soon.
  • This is the best remedy if the reason for a wound is hot water burns.
  • Repeat this treatment  to heal the burns.

3.) Tea Bags to Treat a Burn

Using tea bags is also an effective and helpful solution for the skin burns, tea bag contains tannic acid which draws out the heat from burn wounds and decrease the inflammation in the skin. This simple and effective home remedy works in very less time and gives you immediate relief from skin burn.

Things You Will Need:

  • A piece of cleaned cloth
  • A single cup of Warm water
  • Three tea bags

Directions:

  • Take three numbers of tea bag and a cup of warm water
  • Immerse the tea bags in a cup of warm water and let the water turn cool.
  • Then dip and soak a clean piece of cloth into the water for two minutes
  • Wring out the extra water from the cloth before applying it on burns.
  • Repeat the same process twice or thrice in a set to help you heal the affected area took place because of cigarette burns.
  • Repeat this process until you get the relief from sensations due to burning.

4.) Raw Potato to Treat a Burn

Raw potato holds anti-inflammation qualities and makes it appropriate to treat skin burns, it helps to heal wound easily and naturally . Use of it decreases the burning sensations or skin irritations.

Things You Will Need:

  • A raw potato

Directions:

  • Peel off a fresh and raw potato
  • Make slices of it and rub them very softly on the wound.
  • Release potato juice on wounds while rubbing continuously n softly.
  • Let the juice applied on wounds for some time. Then wash it gently using normal water.
  • Follow the process daily to decrease inflammation, irritation in the skin due to burns and pain of the wound.
  • Take a fresh potato and peel it.
  • Slice it and take one slice to rub it very gently on the burns.
  • Make sure that the potato juice releases on the wounds continuously.

5.) Vinegar to Treat a Burn

Vinegar is also useful in preventing the infections of skin and healing of skin burns. It protects the wound from various skin infections further. As apple cider vinegar has astringent qualities, it heals the affected area instantly and protects it from infections.

Things You Will Need: :

  • Half cup of water
  • Half cup of Apple cider vinegar
  • One washcloth

Directions:

  • Dilute half cup of apple cider vinegar in a half cup of water.
  • Apply the diluted solution on wounds.
  • Wrap it with the cloth for five to ten minutes after applying the solution.
  • Repeat this process daily for the healing of radiation burns or the burns caused due to radiation exposure.

6.) Lavender Oil Treatment for Burns

The lavender essential oil contains antiseptic qualities which reduce the probability of infection and helps to heal the wound fast ,it protects the skin from burn scars and hydrates the skin.

Method 1: Lavender Oil with Water

Things You Will Need:

  • Two cups of water
  • Five to six drops of lavender oil
  • One washcloth

Directions:

  • Add five to six drops of lavender oil in two cups of water
  • Mix it well then soak the washcloth in solution for two minutes.
  • Squeeze the extra water out of the cloth and apply with little pressure on wounds .
  • Repeat the same to cure skin burns after regular intervals.

Method 2: Lavender Essential Oil with Honey

Things You Will Need:

  • two tablespoons of honey
  • three drops of lavender oil
  • small bowl

Directions:

  • Take a small bowl with two tablespoons of organic honey in it.
  • Add lavender oil (three drops) to it.
  • After mixing the both ingredients nicely, apply it on the burn area.
  • Leave it for next ten minutes, and then rinse it off with water.
  • Repeat the same daily twice for healing the wound effectively.

7.) Plantain Leaves Treatment for Burns

Plantain is a plant which contains medicinal qualities and is helpful in treating numerous skin related issues. The leaves of this plant have antimicrobial properties, which reduces the pain in the wound and gives instant relief from inflammation in the skin.

Things You Will Need:

  • Mixer grinder
  • A cloth of cotton
  • A bunch of plantain leaves

Directions:

  • Wash and remove dirt from plantain leaves first.
  • Take a mixer grinder and make a paste of the leaves in it.
  • Apply the paste gently on the wound.
  • Wrap it with cloth of cotton for next five to ten minutes.
  • Let the paste dry properly; repeat the same process until the wound heals correctly.

8.) Oatmeal to Treat a Burn

Applying oatmeal to treat many kinds of skin related issues like blackheads, acne, dry scalp etc. is very common. The layer of oatmeal is helpful to cure the burn wounds and to decrease the pain of wound instantly.

Things You Will Need:

  • Blender
  • One container
  • Half cup of oatmeal
  • A cup of water

Directions:

  • Add a cup of water in container and soak the oatmeal properly in it
  • Keep it for ten to fifteen minutes and let the oatmeal soak water.
  • Soaking water makes oatmeal soft, then blend oatmeal in a blender to get a solid paste.
  • Apply the oatmeal paste on burns.
  • Repeat the same process to get rid of pain and healing the skin burns.
