  • Prepare 1\4 cup of white or apple cider vinegar and 1\4 cup of water in a spray bottle.
  • Put 30 drops of the essential oils as you desire. (If one is using clove oil than just a few drops would be a very strong dose.

6. Soap to Treat Carpenters Ants

  • 1-quart spray bottle to fill it to the top.

Powdered sugar is known to attract the ants and baking soda is known to get rid of carpenter ants. Powdered sugar or baking soda both however are essential requirement to get rid of carpenter ants.

  • Baking Soda
  • Powdered Soda
  • Jar Lids (usually something that holds the bait, or a container if necessary.

Procedure

  • Prepare a combination of baking soda part, 1 part powdered sugar.Make 3\4 tablespoon of each and it jointly in a jar lid. Since ants find it difficult to differentiate between baking soda and powdered sugar as are of the same size. As the sugar attracts the ants, it’s the baking soda that kills these carpenters. The combination is reactive with the acids in the digestive system then it explodes.
  • Put the mixture in suitable temperature conditions and leave the baking soda to do its work. One can use a lid or jar or a similar vessel so that the bait is placed within the container. One can place it upon the surface where the ants are more likely to appear.
