- First take a nail clipper and trim the tips of your fake nails with it. Trim off as much as you can. So that you won’t face any problem while removing it later. If you find it bit difficult to trim, then use a nice coarse nail file. However, do not end up cutting your nail bed. So be cautious while doing so.
- Once you have trim the tips of the acrylic nails, it’s time to file them. For this use a fine grade buffer. It will remove the paint. File your acrylic nails as much as possible.
- After trimming and nail file. Pour some acetone in the bowl. You can add some warm water to it as well. However, do not put the bowl in the microwave since acetone is flammable. Also, avoid liting cigarette around the acetone.
